SoftDepo DVD Ripper is a program that will let you rip DVDs and re-encode them into various video formats. This program is able to join the audio and video of different chapters of a DVD and create a single file, which you can play on your computer or mobile device, and share with other people over the Internet.
You will be able to generate MPG, ASF, MP4, MOV, AVI, or Ogg files from any regular DVD. You will also be able to select the video codec, encapsulation method, bit rate, and the scale of the video. For the audio, you can choose the codec, bit rate, number of channels, and the sample rate to be used. Besides, the program will allow you to preview the movie while encoding.
As it happens with other SoftDepo programs, this application is not exactly “free” but a sponsored software tool that will install Relevant Knowledge. As this is often considered as a threat to your privacy, any good antivirus will prevent this adware from being installed in your system.
